The annual meeting of the European Airshow Council once again honoured the NATO Days in Ostrava

After a two-year forced break, members of the European Airshow Council (EAC), an organization bringing together organizers, participants and other entities involved in organizing airshow events for the public, met in person again in Brussels. And as in 2020, this time too, the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days received the award for 1^st place in the PR and marketing category.

After the two previous editions, which had to be held online due to the coronavirus pandemic, representatives from 25 countries arrived in the Belgian capital for the 23rd EAC meeting. They could thus meet in person, exchange contacts and experiences, and participate in thematic lectures. Representatives of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days have been participating since 2011, and during that time the event was awarded for its promotion for the tenth time.

"There is no better place to gather inspiration, experience and contacts to keep the NATO Days at the cutting edge of European events. The repeated award is proof that we are doing it well," says Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000, the main organizer of the show. "We traditionally used the meeting to discuss the participation of foreign air forces and display teams in this year's event, and in this regard, our participation was also beneficial, and we hope that we will soon be able to publish concrete results."

The benefit for the event is the participation of the NATO Days representatives in the EAC professional program, during which the speakers addressed the topics of safety at air events, marketing, but also the future of flying or the evaluation of events from various points of view - from the number of visitors to the economic impacts.
